The Beginning of a New Adventure
In less than 72 hours I will be in San Diego preparing to start my summer job as a translator in Baja. My preparation started a long time ago. I have been studying Spanish for 7 years and have often wondered if I would ever get to the point where I could do a job like this one. I have been to Baja many times in the past 8 years and each time my love for this place and these people grow. I am excited about the opportunity I have to work in Baja for the summer.
Saying all of that, this was not an easy choice for me. I have the most amazing family and friends that I could ever ask for and leaving them is difficult for me. I have struggled with and prayed about this decision many times over the past several months and ultimately decided that Baja was where God wanted me to be this summer. I am ready to get out of my comfort zone and use the passions and gifts God has given me to bring glory to Him. I am blessed to have the support of my family and friends and am ready to begin a new adventure!
I plan to keep this blog updated, hopefully checking in at least once a week. Feel free to check in as often as you like, enjoy!

"I did not come to be served, but to serve..."
True greatness is expressed in serving.
Have an awesome summer, God bless you!
